Lamar University's Dishman Art Museum will host "Modern Impulses & Surreal Dreams" Dec. 16, 2012 - Feb. 23, 2013.

Light refreshments will be served at the opening reception from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11. Admission to the reception and the exhibition is free.
