Details: This student lecture will examine the office of the president in historical perspective through a first person interpretation of Jefferson by Mr. Bill Barker, a historical interpreter associated with Colonial Williamsburg. Since this event will be held during a presidential election year, the speaker will provide Jefferson's perspective on the role and powers of the president during this time 1800-1808, rather than a modern one.
